There are two principal methods for producing ties. These are jacquard weave and screen printed. A] Woven ties are supplied in polyester, polyester-silk and 100% silk with a minimum of 50 ties, although we can supply as few as 30 if an occasion demands. Typical jacquard woven designs are the basic single or repeated motif on plain ground, shadow motif, fashion ground weave with or motif-less, striped grounds or just plain ground. Maximum logo colours are normally 6 for a single motif and 5 for a repeat motif. B] Printed ties are supplied in polyester and 100% silk, with a minimum of 25 ties for logo screen print and 50 ties for foulard screen print. Logo printed ties are normally for the shorter runs where flexibility and speed of production are the most important criteria. This can be onto plain or striped ground fabric. Foulard printed ties are normally for the more complicated designs which require colour matching or are too detailed or abstract in nature to be woven. Other items available are men's clip-on safety ties, ladies clip-on safety cravats, men's and ladies self-tie or pre-formed bow ties, cummerbunds and waistcoats. We are happy to help you through the whole production process, from design visuals to finished items if necessary. We provide a free initial sketch service but if you do have one of your own that you would like us to quote on, or an existing tie or scarf to price, we will be pleased to do so by return. All that we require are the following details; type of fabric, colours in the design/logo, whether a single or repeated motif, type of ground weave and lastly the quantity.
